Title Statuses Explained
Understanding title statuses is crucial when purchasing vehicles. Here’s a brief overview of what they mean:
- Clean Title: The vehicle has no significant damage.
- Salvage Title: The vehicle has been declared a total loss by an insurance company but can be repaired.
- Rebuilt Title: The vehicle was previously salvaged and has been restored to roadworthy condition.
- Junk Title: The vehicle is not fit for use and is often sold for parts.
Safety Rules at Auto Pulse Parts Locations
When visiting Auto Pulse Parts locations, it’s important to follow these safety rules:
To ensure a safe environment at Auto Pulse Parts locations, please follow these guidelines:
- Safety Vests and Closed-Toe Shoes: These are required at all times.
- Pets: No pets are allowed in the vehicle storage area.
- Minors: Must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Caution Around Moving Equipment: Exercise caution, especially when passing through gates and doorways.
- Be Mindful of Hazards: Broken glass and sharp edges may cause injuries; use extra caution when walking around or looking inside vehicles.
- No Riding in Auto Pulse Parts Vehicles: Members may not ride in or on any Auto Pulse Parts vehicle or equipment.
- Starting Vehicles: Do not attempt to start a vehicle without an Auto Pulse Parts employee present.
- Tools Prohibited: All tools, including diagnostic code readers, are not allowed in the yard. Ask staff for assistance with vehicles.
- Report Issues Immediately: Report any injuries or hazardous conditions to Auto Pulse Parts personnel right away.
- Wildlife Caution: Be aware of the possibility of snakes in some areas; use extreme caution when entering vehicles or raising hoods.
- Access Restrictions: Members and visitors are not permitted beyond the sales area.
- Distance from Forklifts: Maintain a safe distance from forklifts at all times.
- Prohibited Items: Firearms, weapons, and hazardous devices are not allowed on Auto Pulse Parts property. The possession, use, or sale of alcohol or illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
- Electric Fences: Stay clear of electric fences at all times.
International Buyers
To receive your vehicle titles, you will need to have a Limited Power of Attorney on file with Auto Pulse Parts. This document authorizes us to transfer a vehicle into your name and enables us to send the title along with your transporter or shipping company.
To ensure a smooth process, please contact the Auto Pulse Parts location where your vehicle is stored and specify how you would like to receive your title(s).
You can choose to have the title shipped to a U.S. mailing address, and then arrange for someone you trust to forward it to you. Many of our members opt to set up Post Office Boxes in the U.S. for this purpose. Please note that Auto Pulse Parts is unable to ship titles internationally.
You can find the Limited Power of Attorney form in the Document Uploader under your Account menu. Download the form, complete it, and then scan or photograph it using your mobile device. Upload the images through the Document Uploader. Be aware that some states require notarization of this form, so be sure to check the specific requirements for your state.
Pick Up Vehicles Yourself
You can pick up your vehicles in person at one of our 220+ locations across North America. To schedule your pickup, visit the Payments Due page, select the vehicles you wish to collect, and then choose “Schedule Pickup.” Please aim to arrive on time, as arriving late may result in losing your place in line and necessitating a rescheduling of your pickup.
You will receive a confirmation link via text message two hours before your appointment. Use this link to check into the Virtual Queue. Additionally, you can scan a QR code located near the entrance of our facilities. Our courteous staff will then assist in moving your vehicle to the loading area and loading it onto your truck, trailer, or transporter vehicle.
If your title status shows “Title Ready to be Mailed” on the Payments Page, you can pick it up at the same time you collect your vehicle(s). Please note that there will be a $20 service fee for this, and you may experience long wait times as our staff are frequently busy. Also, remember that for legal and liability reasons, you cannot drive vehicles off Auto Pulse Parts facilities.
